01 Agreement
By accessing or using FirstHireHQ (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of use and our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
02 The service
FirstHireHQ provides tools for employers to publish junior and early-career roles and for candidates to discover and apply for those roles. We may moderate listings, verify employers, change features, or suspend the Service for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.
03 Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, misuse the platform, or create security or legal risk.
04 Employer obligations
Employers agree to:
- Post truthful, lawful, non-discriminatory job content and honour application commitments;
- Comply with employment, advertising, and data-protection laws when processing candidate data received through the platform;
- Act as an independent data controller for candidate data and process it lawfully;
- Pay applicable fees where subscriptions apply and authorise our payment processor to charge agreed amounts.
05 Candidate obligations
Candidates agree that information submitted — including CVs and cover letters — is accurate to the best of their knowledge, and that they will not misuse applications, impersonate others, or attempt to access data they are not entitled to see.
06 Content & intellectual property
You retain rights in content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and process that content to operate the Service. The FirstHireHQ name, design, and software remain our property or our licensors'.
07 Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee continuous availability, job outcomes, or employer or candidate suitability. Hiring decisions are solely between employers and candidates.
08 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special loss, and cap direct damages at amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (if any), except where liability cannot be limited by law.
09 Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, subject to mandatory consumer protections where applicable. Courts of Ireland have non-exclusive jurisdiction unless otherwise required by law.
